Download the free app, available on iOS and Android, enter our unique location code: 1825 ahead of your visit or when you arrive and get cracking!

Once you’re on site, get ready for a brilliantly bonkers day out where invention, imagination and adventure collide as you step into a world of curiosity and creativity. The spirit of invention is everywhere so there’s no better place to join Wallace & Gromit on their latest madcap mission!

Find and follow the markers to embark on a unique trail to help Wallace & Gromit ready their rocket for blast off! Each marker unlocks a different, interactive augmented reality scene, challenging you to complete various tasks and tick off Wallace’s check list.

Enjoy meeting and posing alongside the inventive duo, try on Wallace’s Techno Trousers and even take a selfie as Feathers McGraw! Take photos and share them with your friends and family, as you help Wallace & Gromit complete the trail, try out his latest inventions and blast off in the rocket. Whether you’re striking a pose, testing out wacky inventions or capturing the perfect family photo, there are memories to be made at every stop which you can save as memories or share on social media. Make sure to tag Wallace & Gromit and Hopetown Darlington in all your uploads! 

 All Systems Go AR Trail has been optimised for Apple officially supported devices running iOS 16 and later (see iPhone models compatible with iOS 16 – Apple Support (UK). However, the app should still work on devices from iPhone 8 and iPad 2017 onwards as long as they are running iOS 15 or above.

On Android phones, the app is designed to work best on devices running Android 10 and above and that support augmented reality via ARCore. To check whether a device supports ARCore, please refer to this list. The app may not run on devices which do not meet these requirements.
