History Wardrobe Presents: A Very Victorian Christmas
History Wardrobe presents: A VERY VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS
Step into a sparkling 19th-century Christmas with the delightfully dramatic Scrooge Sisters!
Meet Ethel – the grumpiest dressmaker this side of Dickens – and her cheerfully determined sister, Ermintrude, who’s dreaming of the most jolly Christmas party ever, complete with crackers, carols, and a fabulous frock.
But will Ethel’s icy heart thaw in time? Or will it take a visit from the Ghosts of Fashions Past, Present & Future to help Ermintrude persuade Ethel to dress her sister in a glorious ballgown to get her into the festive spirit (and into a glorious ballgown)?
Expect laughter, lovely costumes, and lashings of Christmas cheer as the Two Lucys unwrap the history of the holiday season – all with a fabulous textile twist!
