It's (birthday) party time!

Make your child's birthday one to remember by hosting their party at Darlington's railway-themed visitor attraction!

Saturdays and Sundays are party days at Hopetown Darlington. You can book your two-hour party for either 10.30am or 1.30pm.

What's included?

• 1 hour play in Wagon Woods (use of Wagon Woods is not exclusive to the birthday party)*
• 1 hour for lunch in your own private space, with party lunch boxes provided for every child
• Unlimited time on site before and after the party to explore the railway museum, jump on Experiment!** or visit any on site events or exhibitions

For example, you can play in Wagon Woods between 10.30am-11.30am and have access to the party room between 11.30am-12.30pm.

*In the event of a Wagon Woods closure, the immersive ride Experiment! will be offered instead.

**Experiment! is an additional charge.

Food and Drink

Our individual party boxes are pre-filled for your convenience. Every child can take home anything they don’t eat at the party. The contents of each box is hand picked by you, so you can choose options that fit any dietary requirements. 

Each lunch box contains:

• Sandwich (cheese, ham, egg or tuna)
• Crisps
• Cookie
• Drink

Vegan and gluten free options are available.

Cost

£13 per child (adults go free).

Birthday parties require a non-refundable deposit of £50 upon booking.
