Model Railway Exhibition

Saturday 11th October 2025, 10am-4pm

See the Titans of Steam in miniature! It's your chance to see some superb large scale models in live steam and electric locomotive models running and on display! There will be a variety of displays and exhibits, including the South Oxfordshire Group Gauge 1 running track and the Gauge 3 track, Blackgang. The show will be supported by both traders and societies.

It will be held at Hopetown Darlington, including at Darlington Locomotive Works (home to the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust) as part of the Rail200 celebrations.

The event is the annual meeting of the Gauge 1 Model Railway Association assisted by special guests, the Gauge 3 Society.

You'll be able to get up close to the P2 locomotive 'Prince of Wales' and the A1 locomotive 'Tornado' - both magnificent steam engines.

• Accompanied children (16 and under) - Free
