S&DR Young Producers Presents: Beyond the Tracks
S&DR Young Producers have been busy exploring 200 years of the railway’s diverse culture and industry – from railway carriages, to fashion and folklore.
Together we have created this new exhibition based on our individual interests surrounding the history of the railway and beyond.
A year in the making, – exploring the archives, learning from staff and our own independent research, we are excited to share our findings – we are sure that you will find something that will pique your interest across the last 200 years of Stockton and Darlington Railway!
You can find Beyond the Tracks in The Space, The Carriage Works, Hopetown Darlington this Summer from July 20th 2025.
S&DR Young Producers is a group for 16-24 year olds interested in local history and the heritage industry, based at Hopetown Darlington, run by the S&DR 26miles Heritage Project, in partnership with Tees Valley Museums Group.
