It's Darlington Brick Show this weekend…

We’re absolutely thrilled by the response of ticket sales. The event is now fully sold out and we do not have any walk-up tickets available for Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May.

To keep everything running smoothly (and safely), if you don’t already hold a ticket for this weekend, we kindly ask that you do not travel to site. This also applies if you were hoping to visit Hopetown without attending the LEGO event, as the site will be at full capacity.

We know it’s a bit of a brick wall to hit if you missed out – thank you for understanding 🙏

We’ll be back open as usual from Tuesday, and the good news is… Darlington Brick Show will return next year! 🎉

Sustainability

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint

Don't let a good thing go to waste

  • We recycle paper, card, glass, tins and plastic
  • We use recycled plates, cutlery and cups made from natural material in our café. They're strong, sustainable and good for the planet
  • Leftover food from the café will be available to purchase via the ‘Too Good To Go' scheme to minimise waste

We're Fuming About Fumes

  • Staff are invited to join Darlington Borough Council's ‘Arriva employee travel club’ or 'cycle to work' scheme
  • Hybrid working minimises unnecessary car journeys into the office
  • Staff can lease electric cars through the NHS Fleet Solutions
  • We're installing the latest energy efficient heating and water systems
  • We use local companies and locally-sourced materials whenever we can

Local Motive

  • We use local suppliers to reduce mileage

Light Touch

  • The lights in the toilets, offices and staff areas use sensors so they only come on when these areas are in use

Less Paper

  • We do digital whenever we can - if you'd like to sign up to our mailing list please use the sign up function at the bottom of this page
  • Staff only print documents when absolutely necessary
  • For our printed marketing materials, we use paper and ink from sustainable sources

Community Garden

  • A volunteer-run allotment-style community garden will open in 2025
