Hopetown Comic Con
A new comic con is coming to Darlington!
Hopetown comic con promises to be a great value day out for all the family offering attractions such as photo opportunities, walkabout characters, traders and lots more – including celebrity guest appearances.

- Michael Stephenson/StivCreates - Michael "Stiv" Stephenson is the current Editor-in-Chief, as well as an artist and letterer, for Sonic the Comic Online.
- Christopher Ryan (The Young Ones, Doctor Who, Santa Claus: The Movie, Bottom, Spongebob Square Pants, Only Fools and Horses, One Foot in the Grave and Absolutely Fabulous) will be joining us for Hopetown Comic Con in February!

The star attraction will be the DeLorean DMC car. Made famous by the Back To The Future film-series, sit in the car for the ultimate photo opportunity. "Great Scott!"
There'll also be walkabout characters, plenty of green screen photo opportunities, face painting and a cosplay competition.
Dust off your cosplay or get the sewing machine whirring! In partnership with Cute Fox Events, we're hosting a cosplay competition. Who will you come as?
There are two age categories: Under 14 and 14 and over. There'll be special trophies for the winners and certificates for our runners up. You can only enter by attending Comic Con.

*unfortunately Saracen from Gladiators has had to withdraw from this event.
Although you need to select a time slot when booking, your Comic Con ticket is valid all day. You can arrive as early as you wish, you do not need to stick to your time slot.
